How long have you been in business?
Bank Your Time began in July 2002.
What is your primary product or service?
We provide training, coaching and consulting services in time management and productivity enhancement.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
In about 16 years of real-world experience before 2002, I discovered that a) most people have difficulty managing their activities within the time available, and b) very few people really understand and apply tactics to optimally implement everyday tasks. I had the solution!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Most time management programs focus on "WHAT" to do next. I focus on "HOW" to do it so as to get it done in the least time and effort. This makes my time management system unique - I help people do more in less time.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Physically, I am located only in Scotch Plains, NJ. I do plan to expand to a purely email-based service whereby I can reach out to all corners of the earth.
Provide detailed directions to your location
Scotch Plains is just north of Edison, NJ, and lies between I-287 and Garden State Parkway on US 22. The best approach is to take US 22 from either I-287 or GSP and take Terrill Road down to Cooper Rd, right on Cooper, right on Rahway and two quick rights to our location.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, check and PayPal. While we are registered with merchant services for Amex, Visa, Mastercard and Discover, we do not prefer such payment modes.
Which areas do you service?
I am willing to serve any client anywhere in the United States, Canada, Western Europe and South Asia - basically, English speaking area.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Bank Your Time is owned by Prakash V. Rao.
What are your hours of operation?
Normal operating hours are 9 am to 5 pm Mon through Fri.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
Four of my favorite clients gave me similar compliments - that I made life easier, that I opened their eyes to new possibilities, if success comes from 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration then I made the perspiration worth while, etc. I am satisfied when, through my efforts, my clients are able to relax more and achieve more.
